Including the following non-sensitive details helps diagnose an app problem:
No Aletheia Bible account is required. Core Scripture and research packages are bundled for local use. Optional Apple services, map presentation, or user-requested iCloud synchronization can require network access.
In a CloudKit-enabled release, Back Up & Sync Now sends reading progress, favorites, highlights, notes, and the identifiers needed to merge them to your private iCloud database. It does not upload bundled Scripture or research packages.
See Privacy Choices for local and iCloud deletion guidance. Because synchronized records live in your private iCloud database, your Apple/iCloud storage controls are the primary deletion path.
Aletheia Bible does not invent coordinates, dates, textual mappings, or consensus where the reviewed evidence does not support one. Candidate locations and chronology models remain explicitly identified.
The first release targets iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17.0 or later.
